time is really flyin' by! maizie is about 25 weeks old, or six months (however you want to look at it), and my belly is finally starting to look like a preggo belly:) that makes me really happy! even though i hate the maternity pants, i like that i am over the "is she pregnant or just chubby?" stage. things are getting a little harder to do now...like putting on socks and, depending on where maizie feels like sitting, pants can be a hassle too. i haven't given up on the high heels yet:) that at least is something. i hope i can stand to wear them all the way through to the day i deliver! how awesome would that be? i can also see maizie moving! that is the most exciting thing to me. the other night she kicked so hard that the blanket i was using moved, she's strong! she has also decided that she doesnt really like my kidneys, and practices her baby kung fu on them regularly. it was really bad a few days ago, and i could hardly walk without pain. luckily, she got tired and took a break and i am good to go. whenever i try to show adam that she is moving she stops. she could be doing back flips but as soon as his hand is on my belly or he is looking she acts like she's not even there.
in about two days is thanksgiving, gobble gobble! we are heading out to hermiston on thanksgiving morning. a lot of my extended family is going to be there so it will be a lot like when i was growing up, lots and lots of people:) i am really excited for that. we are only going to be able to see everyone for one day though. friday we are coming home so we can see adam's dad in a play. it is called reckless. friday evening we are going meet up with his mom and aunt and uncles, to watch ferren do his thing.
we are moving. due to some interesting/sad business, adams grandparents have moved out of the house they shared with ferren and jill (adam's parents). ferren and jill offered us the rooms that his grandparents were using. after talking about it we decided that it would be foolish not to take them up on the generous offer. so by december 19 we will be completely moved out of the apartment in salem, which i will say is a very happy thought to me.
"like putting on socks" lol oh the things no one ever tells you before you get pregnant :) i'm glad you're doing well. it seems like it's been forever since we've seen you guys. we need to fix that very soon.
ReplyDeletehaha i kind of figured eventually i would have to give up on any kind of shoes that tie, i just never thought about the socks. please can we fix that? i was wanting to try to do a friend thanksgiving again, but have no idea when.
